On January 17-18, 2019, Professor Huang Zhichuan from Taiwan University brought his laboratory colleague He Zhiming, doctoral student Li Junyi and master student Huang Weilun to visit Sanming Field Station. The research team gave an academic report entitled Channel water balance and exchange with subsurface flow along a mountainous headwater stream in Fushan for the experimental station teachers and students.
On the 17th,the research team conducted an exchange measurement experiment of river water and groundwater in the Wakeng small watershed to compare the exchange process of river water and groundwater under two different riverbed substrate environments, namely, Fushan (rock substrate) in Taiwan and Geshikao in Sanming (sediment substrate). Professor Huang Zhichuan participated in the disscussion of the application for the State Key Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the key projects of Straits fund, and Outstanding Youth Project.
