Examined and approved by the General Administration of Press and Publication in 2006, Journal of Subtropical Resources and Environment (quarterly) was founded, replacing Journal of Fujian Geography as its predecessor, with Liu Xingtu academician as editor-in-chief. Focusing on subtropical region with highest natural contrast, environmental sensitivity and most natural mysteries in the planet, the journal reports the comprehensive research achievements and dynamics in resources(land, water, atmosphere, biology, mineral resources, oceans and tourism), environment(ecological environment, natural and artificial chemistry, physics, biological environment), geography and related important social economy factors in subtropical area at home and abroad, especially the research achievements and frontier theories of interdisciplinary research on resources and environment and geography and the interactions among resources and environment and social, cultural and economic factors. Devoted to promoting academic research and academic exchange, the journal encourages prospective exploration, giving priority to publish original achievements. The level of the journal has been continuously upgraded and has been selected to the source journal for Chinese science and technical papers and citations.
